Dr. Michelle Sabra, D.C.

Dr. Sabra is a board certified licensed Chiropractor and a Life University Graduate 1997.

Dr. Sabra was introduced to Chiropractic when she received her first adjustment at the tender age of 2.  She grew up in the mid-west, where Chiropractic was discovered in 1895 in Iowa. Living holistically was the way of life in her family, and extended family since childhood. Health and living healthy was a normal way of life. The only doctors her family saw was the Chiropractor. Her family and extended family enjoys very full healthy medicine free lives. As do many of the people she knew growing up under generations of Chiropractic care.

Dr. Sabra has always had a passion for science, health, and Chiropractic as well as a passion for helping people. One of her first jobs as a youth was working for a Chiropractor educating new & potential patients about the spine, the nervous system, and holistic living. She spent many hours going to the research department and listening to health talks, at Palmer University by many legends in Chiropractic history. She wanted to understand and learn solutions and how to answer in depth questions patients had, even before pursuing a degree in Chiropractic. Watching first hand the miracles of Chiropractic and learning patient stories of many Chiropractors around the world, including the stories from her uncles Chiropractic practice, and the practice she worked for, she was inspired to pursue becoming a Chiropractor. While in undergrad she was a professional photographer working in advertising, weddings, and portraiture. After completing her undergraduate requirements Dr. Sabra began her Chiropractic training at the founding school of Chiropractic, Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa where she was the school photographer, she worked restoring many historical Chiropractic photographs for publication, and photographing for several technique manuals, textbooks, seminars, and sporting events in her free time.  She transferred to the largest Chiropractic University in the world Life University School of Chiropractic in Marietta, Georgia, for additional training in Upper Cervical Techniques. She was also the school photographer at Life University, for their advertising and publications. She also was the photographer at the largest local newspaper.  

Dr. Sabra earned her Doctorate in Chiropractic in 1997. Dr. Sabra completed all 4 parts of Chiropractic National Boards, and the Chiropractic Physical Therapy National Board she is licensed in the state of Georgia.  She actively participates in numerous Chiropractic groups, and continuing education to continually expand her Chiropractic knowledge and skill set to serve her patients ever changing needs. After earning her Doctorate in Chiropractic, Dr. Sabra was hand selected by the largest Chiropractic school in the world, Life University, her alma mater to travel extensively throughout the United States and Canada, educating the the public about Chiropractic Research, Chiropractic Education and Life University, as well as educating prospective students. Dr. Sabra spoke extensively at many Universities across the country educating people about holistic living, Chiropractic and teaching the principles of lasting purpose. Dr. Sabra's private practice is currently located in historic Kennesaw Georgia.

Personal

Dr. Sabra lives with her two daughters, Mina and Sophia, in Marietta, Georgia. Her daughters have been under Chiropractic care since birth. In their free time they enjoy doing Art projects, jewelry making, painting, photography, sewing, DIY, cooking, organic gardening, Yoga, Thai-Chi, hiking, biking, kayaking, teaching healthy living, mentoring students and reading research.

Chiropractic Techniques

Dr. Sabra has studied and uses a variety of Chiropractic techniques in her practice, including the following:  (HIO) Toggle, Grostic Upper Cervical (hand adjusting), Full Spine, Diversified, Thompson, Gonstead, Palmer Package, Cervical Chair, Pediatrics, Extremity adjusting, SOT, Best, Network, Activator, Muscle Testing, Applied Kinesiology, Nutrition, and NIS- (Neurolink) a Neurological Integration System which uses the latest in scientific research and neuroscience addressing at a cellular level CAUSES and not symptoms of brain to cell mis-communication. www.neurolinkglobal.com

Dr. Sabra addresses your entire nervous system, with an emphasis on the occipital-atlantoaxial region of the spine also called the upper cervical spine. It is estimated that only 1.7 % of Chiropractors specialize in the upper cervical spine. The main upper cervical techniques utilized in the office are the Grostic technique, and the (HIO) Toggle technique.  These highly researched cervical spine technique's have been in use since the early 1920's to address the upper cervical subluxation complex. She has additional training in Applied Kinesiology, and Neuro-Intergration System also known as "Neurolink" which addresses the brain and body at a cellular level based on the latest advances in neuroscience, and thereby helping you achieve optimum health. She especially enjoys helping children and adults with Dyslexia and other learning challenges such as ADD, ADHD and hemispheric processing. She has many years experience in caring for sports injuries and helping athletes reach their peak potential. Dr. Sabra is experienced in caring for pregnant patients in all stages of pregnancy. She too experienced the benefits of Chiropractic care throughout her pregnancies. Regular Chiropractic care ensures the structural integrity of your spinal column and the proper function of your nervous system. A frequent guest lecturer, Dr. Sabra is available to discuss a variety of topics including, the Chiropractic life style, proactive holistic living, living life & health with intention, spinal and nervous system health, ergonomics in the work place, nutrition and your spine, the brain gut connection, neuroplasticity, and many more health related topics. She has spoken at schools, businesses, and health fairs.  Dr. Sabra has extensive experience educating on, improved health, nutrition, working posture and quality of life. Health screenings are also available.
